Ka’alele au ´The Flight of the Navigator´
Ka’alele au with its controlled and focused movements in various speeds looks similar to Tai Chi Chuan, and is an ancient spiritual dance/movement, the art of non verbal communication with all things. Skills learned are useful in all life. You can simply call it a dance meditation movement, where we learn to keep our ‘feet on the ground’, while opening our heart wide and ‘fly’ , completely grounded... It’s an automatic body & soul balancing, a great experience to feel who we are and where we are in the present moment.
"What is inevitable in these practices is a change in perspective and a different way of being. The outcome can be more awareness, more self connection to body, mind and spirit, more connection to others, deeper listening skills, ability to touch another body and create a change on all levels, loving presence and self nurturing at a deep level to release old patterns and ideas. Also being in nature and on the land can also bring about more trust and a deep sense of peace… It is like a coming home to who we really are." (Penny Prior)
